God, Family, Texas, and Meat! The order isn't negotiable, and none are things to be taken lightly!
I've been smoking meat for almost 10 years now. I sucked at it in the beginning, won Grand Championships later on, cooked in State Championships, sold it in stores, and have made a lot of folks say "mmmmmmm, best I've ever had!"
Not to long ago I loved restoring old cars, so I learned how to weld to be better at that. And since God, welding, and eating are staples in life, it wasn't long before my friend Larry - the best cook I know, talked me into building a smoker. It didnt' hurt that my parents bought me a book for Christmas that year on smoking... Even though I asked for a book on grilling because I HAD a grill, but this worked out too.
By trade I'm in IT. But the Lord has blessed me with a servant's heart, a taste for meat, and the patience to cook it slow. If you have a need, I'd love to share it with you. My preference is to always cook for others, but I'll also educate you in my knowledge, experience, and mistakes if you would like the Tag-A-Long experience. Hope to Meat you one day, God Bless!
